Meet the Woman Behind the Words

Before the books, I was simply a girl learning how to make sense of emotions through words.

Hi, I’m Christelle Faith Menon, writer, feeler, observer of life, and believer in turning emotion into something tangible. I write stories and reflections that live somewhere between heartbreak, healing, hope, and the quiet spaces in between. I find comfort in exploring the moments that shape us long after they have passed.

If my writing has one purpose, perhaps it is this: to make people feel seen. The truth is, I have always been someone who feels deeply. I notice the pauses in conversations, the emotions hidden behind smiles, the weight of things left unsaid. Having said that, writing became the place where all of that had somewhere to go.

So, how long have I been writing?

In some way, for most of my life. Long before books, there were random notes on my phone or laptop that were filled with thoughts I didn’t know how to say out loud. Things like fragments of emotions, half-finished conversations, not to mention quiet observations about life in general. Writing was never a hobby for me. It just simply became a way of understanding life. And publishing my first book simply gave those words a home.

How many books have I written?

Two books so far. But truthfully, many more already exist quietly in pieces, waiting patiently in the notes on my devices, voice memos, unfinished ideas, and moments I haven’t fully lived through yet. Some stories arrive all at once. Others take years to find their voice. To some extent, I think writing teaches you patience in that way.

What do I do when I’m not writing?

I observe life. I create. I design. I dream (I try to at all times). I heal. I collect moments. I find inspiration in conversations, cities, fleeting glances, music, silence, and the strange, beautiful intricacy of just being human. Sometimes stories begin in places we least expect.

Something I wish my younger self knew

Your sensitivity is not a weakness. One day, it will become your greatest gift. I wish that I could tell 2017 Christelle that the thing that once made her feel “too much” will eventually become the reason her words resonate with someone who needed them.

And perhaps that is what writing really is. A quiet way of reminding people they are not alone. So, if you are here, whether you found me through a book, a sentence, or simple curiosity, welcome. I’m glad our paths crossed. There is so much more still to tell.
